Overview
Routeless Go is an AI website builder for local businesses. An owner tells Go about the business — or points it at their current website or Google Business Profile — and Go drafts the pages, offers three design directions, and hosts the one they pick for $99/month.
After launch, the same workspace runs everything around the site: plain-English edits, a leads inbox, analytics, content, and domains — so owners don’t need a developer for every change.
What the product does
- Change the site by asking — “Change our Saturday hours to 9 AM to 2 PM” — then preview the drafted change, undo it, or publish.
- A leads inbox that saves every website inquiry and sends it to the owner by text, WhatsApp, or email, with New / Contacted / Won / Lost tracking and notes.
- Analytics that show visitors, inquiries, search clicks, and which pages lead to inquiries, in the same dashboard used to edit the site.
- Content publishing (write, drop in notes, or ask for a draft, then schedule), custom domains without DNS work, and built-in logo creation.
Engineering highlights
- Root-caused a silent login/session failure: middleware was calling a NextAuth v4 API that is incompatible with v5’s cookie format and JWT salt. Fixed it by decoding the JWT directly with the correct cookie name.
- Resolved a CI build failure caused by missing Prisma client generation, restoring a dropped data model and unblocking deploys.
